CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

(FOR THE SPECIAL ATTENTION OF THE STUDENTS)

  1. Every child ought to speak English in the school campus.
  2. At the first bell, all must fall into line immediately, Pupils are expected to obey the Head Boy, Head Girl and Captains appointed by the School.
  3. Strict regularity and punctuality, obedience, courtesy in words and deeds, cleanliness in dress and person and proper care of books and school property are expected from every pupil.
  4. Irregular attendance, neglect of home-work, habitual lack of interest in school work, stealing, misconduct even outside the school premises, wilfully, repeated breaches of school regulations, disobedience and disrespect towards teachers are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of the child from school.
  5. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school, but also general behavior outside. Any report of objectionable conduct on the part of any pupil, will make his / her liable for disciplinary action. Hence, mis-behaviour in public places is liable to the same action.
  6. The Principal, in the interest of the School, may ask a Parent/Guardian to withdraw his child/Ward, should the child’s conduct, behavior or influences, in the Principal’s opinion, be in any way detrimental to the common good of the School and its smooth running.
  7. All pupils are required to wear the School uniform. Neatness in dress and person should be cultivated in every pupil. Wrist band, Long nails, nail-polish, jewelry, tattoo, fancy earrings, nose rings or mobile, long hair , the bringing of expensive articles to School is prohibited. Mehendi should not be applied.
  8. No books, other than which are prescribed, periodicals, mobiles or any other electronic items, etc. may be brought into the School premises, without the express permission of the Principal. Pupils may not exchange Library books without the permission of the Librarian.
  9. Gifts to members of the Staff or other demonstrations in their honor, require the previous Sanction of the Principal. All pupils should endeavor to excel in the practice of good manners and obedience to the Teachers.
  10. Once the children report to School, they must not leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal. The school will not be responsible for the progress and safety of offenders in this respect.
  11. During recess, no pupil is to remain in any of the classrooms without permission. Pupils are expected to attend all school meetings and functions.
  12. Every pupil must take part in school games and other activities, unless declared physically unfit by a medical certificate or exempted by the Principal.
  13. Collection of money for any purpose whatsoever requires the Principal’s sanction. No one may sell raffle tickets any such things without the explicit permission of the Principal, Children are encouraged to practice humanitarian values by means of sparing and sharing and such collections, to help the unfortunate will be entirely voluntary. This does not pertain to special programs arranged for the children. E.g. film shows, variety entertainment, etc.
  14. Pupils are themselves responsible for their own books, pencils, fountain pens, tiffin carriers, any other articles they may bring to school, Cardigans, tiffin boxes, bags, umbrellas and books must bear the name of the owner and class.
  15. No pupils may be absent except for special reasons for which leave should be asked for in writing by the parents, Guardian in the Leave of Absence Record of the Handbook. Oral message will not be accepted.
